Congratulations Amber!!!!

Over the Thanksgiving holidays, Amber had to write a paper on the Gettysburg Address--what it meant then and how it applies to today. It was required for school, but then submitted to a County-wide contest. Guess what?! She won 1st place in the 7th grade division for all of Lincoln County. Now on to State!! Guess that 5 hour lecture from one smart dad really paid off! She was very excited about winning until she found out that they are having a banquet and she is getting a certificate. And...she has to read it in front of everybody! Only time will tell if she will actually do it!!
